Vehicle Description

For sale is my 1963 Pontiac Bonneville that I have been working on as a project. She was purchased from a surfer in Santa Monica back in 2010.
She has the original 389 c.i. mill and a 3 speed collumn shift transmission. She came from the factory with the desirable finned 8-lug cast aluminum wheels.
Here is a partial list of the upgrades/repairs so far:
New upgraded CLOTH Top & custom GLASS back window
COnvertible Top Pads, Motor, Cables, Latches
New Convertible Top Weatherstrip
Lowered 3\\\" using custom springs (not cut)
Completely Rebuilt front/rear suspensions
Professionally restored California black plates
Repaired floorboards
Installed dynamat and new carpet and floor mats
Custom seat console on bench seat (see pics)
Replaced wood veneers on dash
Installed a period-correct Pontiac Vacuum Guage
1960 Impala Antenna
Blacked out trim and wheels
Replaced tail lights, front head light bezels
Replaced lots of interior chrome
Finned aluminum engine dress up kit
New hood insulation pad
I have a binder full of receipts and I figure I have about $15,000 total into the project so far. The guy who had it before me claims to have did a lot of engine work on her. She does have a new electronic igition system which helps with reliability. While the paint is passable right now for daily driving, I had planned to do some body rust repairs and have her repainted (I will include two door patch panels and a rewar quarter patch panel). I didn\\\'t want to do it until I could do it right...its going to be up to you if you want a show car. There are also some electrical bugs that need to be sorted out at this time too. Nothing that affects the running of the car, and she does run good.
People will literally bump into things watching this car go by. Total strangers will wave and shout things at you while driving around town. It is a real spectacle and is perfect for Southern California driving down PCH.
I\\\'m selling due to illness and medical bills and I hate to see her go. I have title in hand and accept CASH ONLY.
Contact via text, email, or phone with any specific questions or to arrange an appointment to see the car.
