When you hear of a Skylark, many folks immediately think of a big-block Buick. If you\'re one of those folks, you\'re in for a treat with this well-sorted \'71. Recently refinished in the original Silver Fern, code#41, this car was restored with the term \'factory-correct\' fully in mind. The body is straight, the paint was applied well, and the gaps are so clean they\'re definitely better than you would have found when this one was new. Although most of the trim and chrome appear to be original to the car, great care was taken to retain that original equipment, and overall, they are in good condition for a car of this age. Again, if you\'re a fan of the factory look, this is the car for you. To complete the original look, the car was fitted with 225/70x14\" tires wrapped around body-colored wheels with factory-supplied Buick caps. Staying true to form, the seats are covered in factor- correct light green vinyl trim, code #100. The carpeting, door panels and armrests are all in great shape, and also match the original color. There are no cracks on the dash pad, and you can see that the owner not only wanted this one to be pleasing to look at from a stoplight, but great care was also taken to ensure that what the driver sees when behind the wheel is pleasing as well. If you drove one of these when you were younger and want to be reminded of the experience, just take a seat inside and let this car take you back in time. Pushing this Skylark down the road is a factory correct 455 cid V-8 engine with a cold air induction system coming through functional hood scoops. These big-block buicks were notorious for the torque they delivered, and this one is sure to provide the thrills you expect from such a powerhouse under the hood. A 3-speed automatic transmission completes the rebuilt drivetrain, and other options and accessories include power steering, AM radio, heater, front and rear seatbelts and seating for six.
