A true representation of Virgil Exner\'s \"Forward Look\" is this beautiful 1955 Dodge Royal Lancer model D55-2 - 2-door hardtop. It was recently restored Sapphire White over Emerald Green and a Satin Green paint job. A ton of chrome makes this beauty shine from front to rear. Included with the chrome bumpers and trim are rare bumper guards, front and back, bumper shields and chrome stone shields out back, and dual chrome outside mirrors. Powered by a new 350cid GM V-8 motor and a TH350 automatic transmission with power tranferring to the ground via a Chevy rear end as well. This car is highly optioned with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, power windows, fender skirts, Pro-Comp ulra-lite gauges to monitor what is going on up front, dual exhaust system and much more. With an all-new and longer 120\" wheelbase and a huge 212.1\" overall length, a new perimeter frame with 5 cross members, newly designed styling that would keep this design in the market for many years. This was the flagship model with unique chrome tailfins, special tail light surrounds and an upscale interior. Back up lights were standard too. Also original are the 215/75 X 15\" WSW tires mounted on correct steel wheels and the original full-wheel hubcaps. Inside is a meticulously maintained tri-tone vinyl interior, vinyl floor cover and mats and a modern AM/FM radio with a cassette player. After a lift up in the air it appears that there is no rust or bondo. Suspension looks straight and tight.
