We have over 5,300 dollars worth of receipts from the last owner for just some of the parts! That does not include the labor or the paint job!

This corvette has been restored with new paint, the original engine was bored 20 over and completely rebuilt with mild cam, new pistons, polished crank, new cam bearings, ported, polished, and resurfaced heads, new valves, new valve springs, new rockers, new oil pump, new timing chain and gears, new clutch and pressure plate, new calibers, new gas tank, new radiator, new heater core, new complete weatherstrip kit, power steering system rebuilt, new mufflers, new belts and hoses, rebuilt distributer, new tachometer cable, new door handles, rebuilt parking brake assembly, new headlight actuators, new front control arm bushings, new leather seat covers, new seat foam, new carpet, new fiberglass front bumper, and much more done very recently.

I drove this corvette over an hour home. It makes lots of power and is very tight and fun to drive! The last owner always did very well at local shows with this vette.

Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money. Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
  1. Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
  2. Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  3. Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
  4. In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
