Classic Car Marketing, Inc. Southern California’s premier marketing company is pleased to introduce this new listing offered for sale by one of our clients. Street Rods themselves are very unique, often reflecting the owners’ passion for the art. Today’s market is filled with Tri-Fives, Camaros and Corvettes, but for the true enthusiast being different is a way of life. Introducing the spectacular “Way Blue”, a full custom 1939 Dodge Coupe with a real 331 Indy Hemi. The owner, a lifelong car guy, started with a barn find that had been sitting for years and knew he wanted something off the chart different. The car was completely disassembled and built from the ground up. Once apart, it was shipped to Scott’s Hot Rods and Customs in Oxnard, Calif. for engineering and stance - suspension build. Scott’s added a four link to the rear and a Scott’s front clip in the front, and yes, both have state of the art Air-Ride. Once completed, the owner mounted the body to the chassis and started the mock up process. Power was delivered from a true Indy 331 race Hemi, with a 727 automatic transmission with a Gear Venders over drive system and a 9 inch Currie rear-end. The custom blend of “Way Blue” paint was applied by Mahood’s Custom Auto Body in Stanton, Ca. and interior by Gabriel’s Custom Upholstery in Palm Desert. Too many body modifications to list here, so call for the list. With power disc brakes, ice cold air conditioning and a custom sound system, this car is one show car that was built to be driven. Full documentation of the build will be provided on this true one-off Street Rod. Offered at a fraction of the build cost at $125,000 OBO.
