Vehicle Description
|
A lot of history follows behind this 1940 Ford Convertible we have for sale. Named “Ol Wino” this 40 Ford carries a 50’s style hot rod theme with the tuck and roll interior, tri-power hot rod motor and a set of Cadillac Sombrero wheel caps. The exterior features a beautiful Vineyard Burgundy paint job over a laser straight and rust free California body. This vehicle features a Chevrolet 327ci motor with an Edlebrock tri-power intake set up for maximum fuel delivery. The small block Chevy motor comes backed by a 350 turbo transmission which turns its power out with a 10 bolt Chevrolet rear end. The highest attention to detail has been spent on this vehicle as any discerning collector would expect. This vehicle was originally pin stripped by Von Dutch in 1977, though the vehicle was refreshed in 2006. The dash has the original pin stripping by Von Dutch and is signed by Von Dutch. A dated original Von Dutch flying eyeball shift knob can be found on top of the shifter. This vehicle has been featured in many published magazine articles such as: Street Rodder Magazine and Hot Rod Magazine to name a couple. Original pictures of Von Dutch pin stripping THE car are available wirh purchase. Vehicle also comes with the original David Bell artist proof of the vehicle… Serious buyers only……

LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD:
Unfortunately, there are people out there who will use classifieds to get your money.
Here are some ways to avoid these scams. Use skepticism and good judgment.
- Be wary if the price is notably below market value.
- Be prudent with International transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
- Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone.
- In almost every case scammers will convey a sense of urgency.
