Vehicle Description

Red 1964 Galaxie convertible. 352 V8 with V4 carb. 250 bhp @ 4,400rpm and 352 ft lbs @ 2,800rpm. Of 593,533 Galaxies made in '64, only 37,311 were this style. The owner drove this weekly for 8 years and it's been stored in a heated garage for the past 3 (started and run regularly). I drove it to take photos on Nov 1/09 and it started first crank and ran smooth at 60 mph. I'm selling it for the owner's widow and doing it as a favor. People who know these cars say this is a nice example and in the right price range (Canadian dollars too). It's been painted and although the odometer reads 42,000 I'm sure it's been over once. The top looks fine and there's nothing obviously wrong with the car. I have some history but not being the owner, my knowledge is limited. I do know it had a new gas tank put in when he bought it.
