FOR SALE: 1977 Bloomington Gold L-82 Vette w/only 17K Miles!

This is a Bloomington Gold Survivor Award winning L-82 Coupe with only 17,922 miles! The car is completely original; it has never been wrecked or painted. It is an L-82 edition and equipped with every option available (except the tow package) in 1977.

The car has been stored in a room temperature controlled garage, meticulously maintained, and is truly one of the finest examples of a 1977 L-82 Corvette in the world! It has the Rally Sport Package, factory air conditioning, and a 4-speed transmission.

It won the Bloomington Gold Survivor Award in 2005, and has been driven only 5k miles since receiving the award.

The Corvette Orange color was available in early 1977, and there were about 4,000 produced. The leather seats were standard feature starting this same year. The car comes with 2 roofs; the glass “moon roof” was available in the aftermarket in 1978 by Chevrolet.

This L-82 edition has 210 hp, compared to regular models that had 180hp. It is equipped with a factory car alarm, electric windows, and a tilt-telescopic steering wheel. It has the Rally wheels, sport mirrors, and a factory luggage rack for storing the roof.

The NADA book value on the car ranges from $15,000 - $40,000. With the low mileage and amazing condition of the car it is worth something at the upper end of this range, right?

The only major blemish on the car is on the back right tail about the size of a quarter. There are also a few black marks on the front spoiler, but the rest of the paint is in almost perfect condition. There are no cracks in the paint that you typically find with this age of vehicle.

I've chosen to leave the car completely unmolested. I thought if I fixed the minor blemishes and detailed the engine then people would not believe it is original. The tires are new, and the mufflers have been replaced to give the car a deeper rumble, but I have the original mufflers if you want them...so if you put the original mufflers back on the only thing that isn't original is the tires!

The original owner had the front spoiler put on by the dealership where he bought it. I have all the major service records for the car, and the phone number of the original owners wife. The husband died back in the late 90's.

The car is very solid on the road, no pesky noises or problems, you can tell it only has 17k miles, it drives like new!

I really hate to sell the car, I love it. But I'm playing on a pro golf tour and need the money to pay for my golf. I'm working on playing on the Champions Senior Golf Tour when I turn 50 next year. (I might buy it back from you)

Call or email me if you have any questions.

You cannot go wrong with this one. You can show it or go in it. As you can see the orange color lights up in the sun. You will get more attention with this Corvette than probably any car you will ever drive.
