Award-winning builder Donn Lowe built this one-of-a-kind 50s-style custom in 1977 in Colorado. It has been stored for the last 4 years. The car has been driven fewer than 12K miles since purchased by current owner in 1990. Some modifications by the current owner include fade-away fenders, engine and transmission rebuild, air suspension, new wiring, re-chromed bumpers and grill, and custom paint (matching original color - House of Kolor Dusty Rose). The car has been garaged and trailered since repaint. This car is a real head-turner and has won many trophies, though it is not a show car. A trailer is recommended for transport due to the custom paint. The car is built on a 1972 Monte Carlo frame, the engine is a 327 Chevy (rebuilt). It has air-ride suspension. The body modifications are many: frenched antenna, door handles removed and filled (solenoid openers), drip rails removed, fade-away fenders, frenched 1937 Ford fender skirts, frenched headlights, modified grill, one-piece hood, rear fenders molded into body, side chrome removed, tail lights frenched, top chopped 4-1/2 inches in front, 5-1/2 inches in back, trunk handle removed and filled. It has new electrical throughout, solenoid door openers, lake pipes (for looks), Dodge Lancer hub caps (5), 50s-style Coker while wall tires, power steering, A/C and heater.
