Top 25 "Shades Of The Past" & "Grand Run" Pigeon Forge, TN

This Car Would Easily Be Priced $100,000-$125,000 In An Auto Showroom

The top is chopped and the radiator shell dropped to give the car a completely different look from the original line. Custom metal work included filling part of the open area behind the front wheel opening.

The original '29 Chevy’s have lots of wood framing in the body. That is why it is so difficult and expensive to build one of these cars. It takes many hours of expertise to build that back with steel and finish the welds to look factory. The frame was boxed and necessary attachment points added. Every weld and fabrication point has been ground and polished and painted to perfection. This is an ALL METAL car. No fiberglass or filler. Thousands of hours of final preparation time and attention to detail.

Engine is a 350 bored .030 over and a mild cam and 4 bolt mains and a Z-28 intake. Walker radiator, Sanderson ceramic coated headers. Mallory ignition. Many engine parts are polished. Transmission is a GM 350 Turbo.

Interior is by M&M Custom Upholstery in Blountville, Alabama. Seats are from a '86 Fiero and there is a back set also. Steering column is GM tilt with a Corvette wheel. Original exterior door hinges have been removed an new hinges added to the inside. Instrument cluster is Dakota Digital. Power windows & AC & other neat accessories.

Car is kept in a climate controlled garage with my other cars. Spotless inside and out and underneath. No hesitation to say the car runs and drives perfect. It is a head turner and top show winner wherever it is shown.

Not another ’29 Chevrolet like this. All steel, thousands of hours of hand work, finest details to every item. Very reasonably priced for the quality of car. I do not drive this or take it to shows anymore. It is a proven "one-of-a-kind" show winner. A top winner in every show entered.

This car would be priced $100,000 - $125,000 in an auto showroom. I will sell it at a more reasonable price as the builder/owner. No need to pay a showroom profit.

LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD

Unfortunately, there are people out there who use classified ads to try and scam legitimate buyers and sellers.
To avoid becoming a victim of fraud, use a healthy dose of skepticism and your own good judgment when dealing with strangers over the internet.

  • Be wary if an item is priced notably below market value.
  • Be prudent with international transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  • Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone numbers.
  • Scammers usually convey a sense of urgency - don't be rushed into a decision.

Please report any suspicious ads or contacts you have dealt with. We cannot guarantee the validity of all individuals or businesses that choose to advertise on our website.

Testimonials

"This service was very helpful in the sale of my car. I got a lot of hits, and a good number of questions from interested buyers. People on this site know what they are looking for, and the search engine is great for providing them with their desires. It only took 2 weeks on here to sell my car. Thank you very much!"
