FOR SALE: Excellent Condition
We are offering a 1939 Chevrolet Two Door Deluxe Sedan Streetrod. Car was purchased from the Owner/builder. It took 3-1/2 years to complete the project. This car is a leader in all catagories. The top has been lowered 3-1/2". All chrome and handles have been removed. 1940 Chevrolet headlights have been molded into the front fenders. Parking-turn signals are located behind reduced fender louvers. Custom stainless gangster grill was made to fit one piece peaked hood with left/right opening. The louvered side panels are removable. Cowl vent has been filled. Firewall has been smoothed and recessed 9" to accommodate the Turbo Intercooler.
The door handles and hinges have also been smoothed. Doors and trunk use digital actuators for opening. The running boards are steel with louvered sides welded and smoothed into the welded and filled rear fenders. The bottom rear fenders have been radiused to follow the lines of the 6" rolled rear pan. The rear pan has French rolled exhaust openings. Directly below the rear glass are six (6) 1" louvers. The 3rd brake light is recessed in back of the louvers.
The interior has a custom molded leather headliner. The front seats are from a 1987 Buick Grand national. They are 6-way power and are covered in leather. The rear seat is stock '39 Chevy covered in leather in the same lines as the front seats. Door panels are matching leather. The door panels feature power windows and locks. The front seats are divided by a custom center console with all the necessary gauges using a B & M Shifter. The red digital gauges package on the dashboard links up to the factory computer.
The AC & heat is a modified Vintage Air that blows hard and cool. Steering is a late model GM column linked to a Mustang power rack with a low pressure valve. Steering wheel is Billet Specialties.
The paint is custom flames over PPG Deltron base coat / clear coat custom mixed by Stan Betz.
The engine is 1987 Buick Grand National Intercool.
Induction is Sequential Fuel Induction. Heads are Buick Stage I. Cam is stock Buick Turbo. Pistons are stock Buick. Exhaust is Hooker Headers, Flow Master 3 Chambers. Transmission is a Buick Grand National Blueprinted 200 4R 2800 stall converter. Rear end is a Buick Grand National 8.5 342 Posi. Suspension is a Mustang II IFS with Monroe Shocks, front adjustable ride height 2-1/2", rear has Buick / GM leaf springs with Monroe Shocks. Front brakes are 11" disc. Rear brakes are GM drum.
Wheels are Brand New Boyd Coddington 17 x 8 front and 18 x 8 rear. Tires are Brand New Cooper Zeon Sport A/S . Fronts are P235/45R17. Rear are P255/45R18.
It took 3-1/2 years to build this car. No expense spared. You will have to look a long time to see one this fine. Runs and drives excellent. There is no way you could build this car for the price. You want go wrong with this baby it has it all. Additional pictures can be sent upon request.
