Leader Automotive who now works

George is the brother of the late John

and founder of the Delorean Motor Car
Works. George bought the Royal
Pontiac Racing Team in 1965, then
went on to designed and
developed the Pontiac Ram Air IV and
V cylinder heads, built the first 5
Racing Trans Am's for Pontiac, as well
as built the first 10 Hurst AMX's. He
has built motors for professional
racers from drag boats to top fuel
dragsters! This car runs 12.10 @118
mph in the quarter mile in drive w/
street tires!

ring type w/ stainless steel liners.
All the above parts were bought new,
I've owned this car since 1981 and my
father was the original ower and it has
never been driven in the rain! I have
all the original parts, ex. exhaust
system from the manifolds back and
the torque converter!
This car will run in the high 10's w/
slicks only NHRA rules state it must
not run faster then 12 seconds with
out a roll bar, drive line loop, and
trans blanket! I have $32,500
invested, the motor alone would cost
$12,000-$13,000 to replace alone!
The interior is in mint condition! No
one has ever placed their foot on the
floor mats, the car has never been
parked in the baking sun, or driven in
the rain! It has been placed on jack
stands when ever the car has not been
in use!
This is 1969-1970 performance in a
Limited Edition 1978 Corvette Indy
Pace Car only far better!
I just ran this car in Helena, MT. at the
Blast from the Past
Event. It ran an
8.449 @87 mph in the 1/8th mile.
That's at 3500 feet in elevation with
street tires in drive!
I've had three (3) different rebuilds in
this car, all done by George at Leader
Automotive, Inc. and this motor only
has 4,485 miles on it!

LEARN TO RECOGNIZE GOOD DEALS FROM BAD

Unfortunately, there are people out there who use classified ads to try and scam legitimate buyers and sellers.
To avoid becoming a victim of fraud, use a healthy dose of skepticism and your own good judgment when dealing with strangers over the internet.

  • Be wary if an item is priced notably below market value.
  • Be prudent with international transactions. A good number of buyer/seller fraud attempts originate from overseas.
  • Confirm contact information. Legitimate buyers/sellers will provide valid information, including phone numbers.
  • Scammers usually convey a sense of urgency - don't be rushed into a decision.

Please report any suspicious ads or contacts you have dealt with. We cannot guarantee the validity of all individuals or businesses that choose to advertise on our website.

Testimonials

"This service was very helpful in the sale of my car. I got a lot of hits, and a good number of questions from interested buyers. People on this site know what they are looking for, and the search engine is great for providing them with their desires. It only took 2 weeks on here to sell my car. Thank you very much!"
