The Nickey Chicago Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is one of the most highly anticipated classic car events in the Midwest. It features a gathering of the finest muscle cars, collectible cars, Corvettes, and Supercars in the country, as well as other exciting automobile-related activities. The two-day event begins on the 21st of November, 2009 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, which is located near the O’Hare Airport.
More than 400 splendid cars will be on display in an exhibition space that covers 400,000 square feet. The highlight of the event is the “Nickey Chicago vs Mr. Norms”, which features some of the best automobiles from two renowned Chicago dealerships and performance shops. There will also be special exhibitions such as the “Shelby Snake Pit”, “Class of 69 40th Anniversary”, and “Corvette L88 Showcase”. Several celebrities will be present at the event, and they include Jim Wangers, Dick Guldstrand, Arnie Beswick, Norm Kraus, and Dick Biondi. Also, more than 250 swap meet spaces will be set up during the event, offering a wide variety of auto parts and services.
The Nickey Chicago Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals promises a most enjoyable weekend for automobile enthusiasts and their families. The show hours are 9am to 9 pm on Saturday and 9am to 5 pm on Sunday.
