Carlisle Event’s Top Sale Goes to a Classic Corvette

The Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet and Corral was blessed with good weather and some high priced sales to make the annual event another success. The Carlisle Fairgrounds swap meet event saw many classic car enthusiasts roaming around in search of some special parts for their classic car back home. Vendors there also had many different pieces of classic car memorabilia on hand so no one went home without something to remember their trip.

The event was especially memorable for one lucky classic car buyer. The annual auction’s top value sale was a 1959 Corvette Big Brake Roadster. This fuel injected beauty with a Tuxedo Black exterior and red interior trim fetched $148,500.

This incredible car was listed as headed to Carlisle before the event before the event and that may have helped get a higher price. Classic car events like this are still very popular but the pre-advertising brings home the point that the internet is a terrific place to find that not too expensive classic car you have been searching for.

Visit Old Car Online today and browse classic cars for sale and you might find your must have classic. We also offer links for shipping services that will make sure that your new prized possession arrives to your home or garage in the best possible condition.
