The Automobiles of Arizona by RM Auctions is one of the grandest classic car auctions of the year. It will be held from January 21 to January 22, 2010 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. This is the 11th edition of the annual auction, and it will draw thousands of automobile collectors and enthusiasts from all over the US as well as other parts of the world.
The 2010 Automobiles of Arizona will feature about 160 highly prized classic cars, including five notable cars that were produced by leading Detroit manufacturers. These five cars are a 1954 Mercury XM800 Dream Car, a 1956 Cadillac Maharani Show Car, an original 1956 Chrysler Plainsman Concept Car, a 1958 Cadillac El Dorado Dream Car, and a Lincoln Sentinel “Styling Buck”. They are either one-of-a-kind or extremely rare, and they will be auctioned off on the second day. This year, a British-themed auction called “The British are Coming!” will also be held during the Automobiles of Arizona. This special auction will feature historically significant British classic cars.
The first day of the Automobiles of Arizona will take place from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, and the second day will start at 11.00 am and end at 7.00 pm. If you want to attend the auction, you have to purchase the official catalogue, which costs $100.00. The official catalogue grants entry for two people.
