Over the years, the Concours d’Elegance of America has gained a reputation as one of the most prestigious classic car shows in the state of Michigan. The 34th edition of this spectacular event will be held on the 29th of July, 2012 at the picturesque boutique hotel The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan, and it is expected to draw thousands of classic car enthusiasts from across the country.
This year’s Concours d’Elegance of America will feature over 300 automobiles and motorcycles. The featured classes include Jaguar and Corvette, Can-Am and Trans-Am, Slingshot Rails, Supercars, Micro-Cars, Station Wagons, and Three-Wheel Motorcycles. Other than these, there will be more than 15 traditional classes, ranging from the Pioneers for pre-1900 cars to Post-War European. A host of events will be held before the concours, and they include the Motoring Tour, Automotive Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony, Plymouth Friday Night Concert, American Speed Open House, and RM Vintage Motor Car Auction.
The Concours d’Elegance of America will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m., and tickets are priced at $25.00 per person. More information is available at the official website of the event.
