2010 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is widely regarded as the most prestigious classic car show in the world, and it will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The event will showcase the finest automobiles and motorcycles in the world, and it will again be held on the famous 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach Golf Links. It will take place on the 15th of August, 2010, but a number of exciting events that are related to the concours will be presented as early as the 12th of August.
Only 175 of the most valuable and rarest automobiles and motorcycles in the world will get the chance to participate in the esteemed Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance every year. This year, the featured marques are Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, and Pierce Arrow, and the designs of Ghia will also be showcased. Other types of vehicles that will be featured include Hot Rods and Indy cars, as well as pre-1960 American motorcycles. In the days leading up to the event, auto enthusiasts can attend the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance, Pebble Beach Motoring Classic, Pebble Beach Retro Auto, Pebble Beach Auction, and the Automotive Fine Arts Society Exhibition.
On the day of the main event, participating vehicles will enter the field at the break of dawn, and judging will start at 9:00 a.m. The field will be open to spectators at 10:30 a.m., and the presentation of awards will commence at 1:30 p.m. General admission tickets for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance are priced at $150.00 for advance purchase and $175.00 on the day of the show.
