Dr. George Car Show is an annual auto show that is organized by the Palm Springs Cruisin’ Association in honor of the late Dr. Sebastian George, who had selflessly dedicated himself to help people battle cancer. The 11th edition of this much awaited event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the 9th of February, 2013 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California. It will feature a spectacular exhibition of vehicles, as well as great live entertainment and food.

On the day of the event, about 1,000 stunning cars, trucks, and motorcycles will be displayed on new grass at the famous Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Attendees will get to see a diverse lineup of vehicles, ranging from vintage to modern vehicles. The vehicles will be judged by auto experts such as Sam Fosse, Dick Messer, and Dick Guldstrand, and the winners will be awarded trophies. There will also be an exhibition of special vehicles by the Auto Club of Southern California, and a silent auction featuring a wide range of vehicles. Guests can also enjoy great shopping with vendors, delectable food, live music, raffle, and 50/50 drawing.

Admission to the Dr. George Car Show is free, but a donation of $2.00 is suggested. Proceeds from the show will go towards the Desert Cancer Foundation. Over the last decade, the organizers of the show have donated a total of $2.6 million to the foundation and helped provide medical care for many cancer patients who could not afford treatment.
