Pull the right one and the manual gearbox was shifted up electronically faster than most mere humans could accomplish the feat. Pull the left paddle and a downshift was over so fast you had to listen closely to hear the engine being blipped for the perfect match of the syncromesh. Pull both paddles towards you and neutral was selected.This proved to be a very popular option with a high as 90% of F355s being ordered this way in traffic-congested cities.
