FOR SALE: 1994 Chevrolet C1500
It\'s obvious that Chevy built the stepside pickups like this 1994 C1500 purely for style. Sure, it\'s still truck rugged underneath, but on the outside it\'s one of the best-looking half-tons ever built. And with a few subtle custom modifications like this one has received, they can be elevated to something truly special. This truck\'s sleek, monochromatic look comes from careful blending of the factory paint with careful aftermarket parts like the color-matched bumper, custom billet grille, and rear roll pan with integral LED taillights. The finish work on the paint is exceptional, especially given that this truck is nearly two decades old, and the straight bodywork means it has always been someone\'s special truck. The color isn\'t stock, and no factory paint ever had a glow like this, lit with an inner fire that is still low-key but draws you in once you notice it. The effect is really quite impressive. There\'s also a custom hard-shell tonneau cover that creates the world\'s largest trunk, which has been covered in a spray-on bedliner and a matching black carpet pad. The tailgate handle has been relocated inside the bed for a smooth look, and the stock taillights are blanked-out for an ultra-smooth look that really works. The C/K pickups were not famous for their luxurious interiors or exceptional design, so this stepside has been thoroughly remodeled inside, beginning with a set of beautiful tan leather and cloth bucket seats. Flanking a custom center console, the interior has the feel of an upscale luxury car and the look of a sports car, all professionally finished to a very high standard. Note the gorgeous headliner and door panels with their embossed flame motif and cleverly integrated speakers, the bright polished aluminum dash trim that would look equally at home in a high-end British luxury car, and revised A/C vents that disguise this truck\'s production-line origins. The fat Colorado Custom tilt steering wheel is wrapped in matching tan leather and the factory gauges have been disguised by a billet insert on the instrument panel. An AM/FM/CD stereo and navigation system have been installed for entertainment purposes, and it even appears that the floor mats were custom made just for this truck. Nice! Fully detailed, the engine bay is as much a show piece as functional machine. The original 4.3L V6 motor is dressed in an Edelbrock chrome dress-up kit and features a 4-barrel carburetor that helps build horsepower. A billet serpentine drive system for the accessories keeps everything tucked in tightly to the block, and even pieces like the brake master cylinder have been given their own bits of jewelry. The fan shroud and firewall are color-matched to the bodywork, but keeping the mechanicals fairly stock means this truck is everyday reliable. It\'s also completely rust-free underneath, where you\'ll find a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and a heavy-duty rear end that can still work for a living. It\'s been lowered at all four corners for a wicked stance that\'s accentuated by those 17-inch Intro wheels wearing 255/50/17 front and 275/50/17 rear Nitto performance radials. Still cool after all these years, GM has yet to top the slick stepside of the mid-90s. With this one, you\'ll be the envy of every cruise night you attend. Call today!
