1979 Ford F150 1979 Ford F150 Ranger Classic Truck

I have a rare 1979 Ford f150 Ranger 4x4 that is in great shape. The short wheel base of the trucks in this generation gives them a very unique and highly desired look that screams tough. So much, that the Ford 1979 model year brought a new promotional campaign for trucks: the famous Built Ford Tough slogan. Under the hood is a motor that matches the look. The big block 400 Modified motor with the high rise intake manifold and aluminum Edelbrock headers runs great and sounds awesome with the dual exhaust. The truck has just recently undergone some maintenance with a rebuilt C6 transmission and torque converter still under a 12 month or 12,000 mile limited warranty done by Mark Smiths Transmission on February 20, 2012. The truck has also been given a freshly rebuilt Holley carburetor and Clydes Automotive repair service put in a new water pump. As you can see in the pictures this truck is in great shape and is 99.9 rust free, the only rust is along the weather strip on the doors and a little on the hood, a picture has been added to show it. The paint is in very good condition and will get the attention and approval of all that you pass but is not so nice that you are afraid to use it as a truck. I believe the seat and interior to all be original and is in great condition, the seat even has the original cardboard backing when you fold it forward and the floor mat looks as if has never been up. The dash is in perfect shape without any tears or signs of age. The mileage showing is 06260.2 I take that to be 106260.2 original miles. The Front grill is cracked but is not noticeable behind the brush guard and lights mounted to the front bumper. The bed of the truck is in great shape but the rhino lining seems to be fading through. This truck is offered at a fantastic price because there are still improvements to be made before taking the drive cross country or put in the show room.
