They also installed a new clutch and pressure plate, dual exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, Headman headers, 4 calipers, master cylinder, water pump, spark plug wires, starter, fan clutch, power steering hoses, water pump, belts and hoses, aluminum intake, and much more.

GM only produced 14,516 with the L82 engine option, 6,344 with non tilt & tele steering column, and only 12,343 with a 4spd transmission out of 54,000 corvettes produced in 1979.
