The 450SE was the most powerful model in the Mercedes Benz lineup in 1973. It featured a four-wheel independent suspension and disc brakes. 1973 was the first model year of the 450SE for the US market. This car is in excellent condition. There are no scratches no rust and no engine problems. With a V-8 4.6 liter engine, and only 128k miles on it this car sounds and runs great. Top speed around 125 mph, sold for around 14,000.00 brand new. This car is a very bright yellow pastel color with a black leather interior, leather in very good condition as well. There are 2 small dents on the roof, 1 on each side between the rear window and both rear passenger doors from the previous owners, probably from attaching some form of travel compartment to the roof. The paint looks excellent still, with only a few chips along the edge of the doors, which could be easily touched up. Air conditioning and cruise control is available though do not work. Personally I haven\'t even looked/tried to get them working. Should be a quick fix if interested. This is indeed a luxury classic, and needs an owner that can appreciate and take care of this beautiful model.
I purchased this vehicle from a dealership located in Gladstone, Oregon 2 years ago and had to replace the exhaust system, shocks/brakes and have kept up on routine maintenance while in my possession.
