1972 Volkswagen Beetle This 1972 VW Super beetle was a project for the owner so that it could be pulled behind a motor home. The owner used to own a VW repair and buggy shop and know a little about them as they had to restore some, build sand dragger, off road units and so forth. If you buy it can be transported flat towed, all you need is a rig to tow and a super beetle tow bar. The owner will buy a tow bar if you pay the full price.

This unit has been outside for over 6 months, before that it was inside for over 7-years, the parts and engine have been inside storage. The owner has over 7,000.00 invested, not counting any labor and time that has been put into it. The fenders have new stainless bolts and washers, fenders are loose so that you can paint then put the beading in. It has a clear Oregon title.

This unit has many things for it, here is just a small list, the owner believes that they have better than 95 percent of the parts.

NEW PARTS needed to be installed: Sun visor aftermarket, latches, molding doors trunk, lids, fender skirts aftermarket, roof window sun roof aftermarket, heater booster motor kit aftermarket, running boards aftermarket, head liner, door panels, all windows and seals. Beading, weather stripping, front and rear seat covers, front and rear carpet and pad, front and Rear bumpers with brackets no bumper guards, hub caps and wheel covers, outside mirrors with lights after market.

Used Parts: Brake drums resurfaced, wheels sand blasted and painted, Tires all the same size, brand, the wear is about 85 percent.

The Body and Transmission: shocks, windows

Things the owner does not have: Paint and supplies, a few nuts and bolts, tow bar and time.

Engine: 1835cc has zero time on it. The heads are new cc‥d within 1cc, Crank is .010 .010 .030 case, cam, lifters and gear new, rods rebuilt and shot peen, piston mohel, 200mmflywheel and new clutch, complete engine balanced to 6,000 RPM. We installed an external electric fuel pump

Installed Parts and Work that the Owner has done: Some body work, new brake wheel cylinder Mid America Motorworks, new brake shoes Wagner, steering gear New TRW Brazil, tie rods ends Mid America Motorworks, rear and front wheel bearing packed and new seals

Transmission: CV joints and transmission were overhauled about 20,000 miles as per last owner. When I drove it shifted great and smooth, that is why I didn‴ take the tranny out.

Windows: all windows look good with no cracks, rear window is good but the heated unit does not work, might work if you repair or replace.

Shocks: Fair to OK the owner was not going to replace
