FOR SALE: 1967 Chevrolet Nova
Antique/Classic / Charlotte, North Carolina
OK, we know a lot of you guys out there are picky about your cars, but please take a moment to look at this 1967 Chevy Nova. Straight bodywork? Check. Clean interior? Got it. Spotless undercarriage? Roger that. If you\'re the kind of guy who likes his cars to be right, then this one definitely deserves your attention. These weren\'t anything amazing when they were new, with most Novas packing six-cylinder engines for economy. But that also means that their survival rate wasn\'t all that great, so finding one as incredibly crisp and sharp at this one is not a common thing. Just look at how razor-straight the body lines are, particularly on the rear quarters. Think of the hours someone spent getting this car to look that good and ask yourself if you\'re up to doing that yourself. If not, then this is the way to go, with expertly done workmanship that will stand out at the next cruise night. No additions, no deletions, just a sizzling bright red paint job over sheetmetal that\'s as nice as it was when it was new. The car\'s crisp design includes minimalist trim, with just a single stripe of stainless running down the flanks, along with bright chrome bumpers and a simple egg crate grille up front. Heck, this one hasn\'t even been dressed up like a Super Sport, but instead sticks to the basics and gets them exactly right. Basic black would describe the interior, but like the exterior, it\'s what you don\'t see immediately that\'s most important, and the beauty remains in the details. The seat covers are new and reproduce the original patterns exactly, making them both comfortable and stylish. New carpets, beautifully rendered door panels with all the stainless trim intact, and crisp gauges all suggest that someone was all about the little stuff when this car was coming together. Auxiliary gauges have been fitted under the dash, and there\'s an AM/FM/cassette stereo in the dash, but otherwise it\'s quite stock inside, which I\'m sure you\'ll appreciate once you see it. As I said, the folks who built this car really knew their stuff. Heck, just check out the rust-free trunk, which includes the original mat and a correct spare and jack assembly. A 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 slides between the fender wells, and since it\'s the same size as the original 327, it fits perfectly. With a high-rise intake, double hump heads, and a Mallory dual-point distributor, it\'s got the credentials, and it\'s obvious that this isn\'t some parts-store special. Real braided stainless lines give it a race-ready look, along with chrome on the valve covers and air cleaner. Power steering, power disc brakes with a new master cylinder, and a custom Flowmaster exhaust system are all worthy additions to the features list, and thanks to a TH350 3-speed automatic, it\'s as easy to drive in traffic as it is on the open road. You\'ll appreciate how clean the floors are from underneath, and the 15-inch Rally wheels wear 205/65/15 blackwalls and spinner centercaps. A super slick car that was built to a very high standard, and it\'s sure to measure up no matter who you are. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
