FOR SALE: lost cars of the 80s
Antique/Classic / cornelius, Oregon
Borrowing from the popularity of the Cosworth Vega, GM and Toyota conspired to create a dual overhead cam, EFI variable induction 4valve per cylinder motor that would red line at 7500 rpm. This was basically the popular MR2 engine. In keeping with this venue, they added 4 wheel independent sport suspension, heavy swaybars, 4 wheel disk brakes and a 5sp trans. One could get any color they wanted as long as it was black. The result was the beginning of 4 door American sport cars. Although known as one of the Lost Cars of The 80s,the twin cam remains the rarest and perhaps most sought after 5th generation Nova. This example, though not restored, is in very good original condition including the normal amenities and cold a/c.
