The 1964 VW beetle was a result of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche’s direction under Hitler to in the 1930’s to design an economical car for the masses in Germany. The name “Volkswagen” literally means “people’s car.” Although it was designed in the 1930’s it wasn’t until 1945 that Beetle production began in significant numbers.

This 1964 Beetle is has been fully restored and it is a quality car. Exterior is yellow with clearly professional paint. The body is straight and solid. The luggage rack on top sports a small surf board and the rear rack has a wicker picnic basket, both add the look and feel of the 60’s era. The custom interior is white with yellow piping accenting the seats. Dash is a matching yellow with a white steering wheel, another great color accent.
