We are thrilled to offer this 1962 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible! Finished in its original A-Raven Black over 35A-Red Crush Vinyl with Silver Beading, it certainly maintains the look of a period drag racer. Still maintained with its original, 1962 date-coded 352ci V8 drivetrain, it began with as a 2bbl car, but is now equipped with a new Edelbrock Performer 390 aluminum intake & Edelbrock 650cfm 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke. The original Cruise-O-Matic transmission and the trusty Ford 9-inch rear out back is fitted with boulevard 3.00 gearing. The car also comes equipped with power steering, power top and a splendid Kenwood AM/FM/MP3 radio. The car has what appears to be relatively new Flowmaster chambered exhaust and a staggered 205/75R15 front & 225/75R15 rear setup. It has been badged with 406 exterior emblems and matching stickers under the hood.
Our Sunliner was built April 30th, 1962 in Mahwah, New Jersey. It ultimately found its way into the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania District. This Galaxie is a great way to celebrate the early 1960s drop top lifestyle. It's a fully functional big-block convertible with power conveniences that is ready to cruise the boulevard!
