The MGA was produced from the years 1955-1962. Produced by the MG division of the British Motor Corporation, the MGA was a different design from the older cars. A total of 101,081 units were sold through July 1962 and the majority of vehicles produced were exported. With only 5,869 cars sold on the British home market, this represented the highest export percentage of any British car.
