TRANS & CHASSIS: Ford top loader 3 speed stick with Borg Warner overdrive. Dana 44 1/2 ton truck rear end. All suspension, brakes and steering are new and are stock 56 Ford. Custom dual exhaust with Dyna-max turbo mufflers and crossover tube to even sound and back pressure. BODY & PAINT: Perfect rust free body, flawless 2 stage clear coated black with traditional Hot Rod flames (pearl white faded to yellow, orange, red with electric blue pinstriping, topped off with blue pearl ghost flames.) all under flawless PPG urethane clear. Lettering on sides is 24 karat gold leaf vinyl, it can be removed easily and as part of sale I will put any names or logo that buyer wants. BODY NOTE: The car was originally a 2 door station wagon called a Ranch Wagon. I had sheet metal panels with a steel inner structure welded in place of the side windows to make a perfect duplicate of the original sedan delivery. I left the back to open up like a station wagon because it's more practical and a nice place to sit at car shows and events. The car has won 5 shows and has been in one magazine. WHEELS & TIRES: Wheels are new vintage steel specially painted yellow to match flames. Hub caps and trim rings are polished stainless 48 Ford with Ford script painted yellow to match. Tires are Futura radials, 255/60-15 rears, 235/60-14 fronts. INTERIOR: 2 tone special grey cloth seats and side panels with black piping. Colors are medium grey and dark grey. Headliner is medium grey cloth and is a flawless work of art. Carpet is low cut dark grey with custom matching carpet floor mats. Material and workmanship of interior is exceptional. All interior moldings are new chrome, dash is painted flawless gloss black with professionally made wood inlay. Gauges are Auto Meter black face with white letters and chrome bezels(traditional Hot Rod style.) Pioneer am/fm CD player mounted in glove box along with wiper, fan and power antenna switches to keep dash clean. Traditional Hot Rod style steering wheel round out the interior. SUMMARY: This is a very special and rare vehicle. It is in perfect condition and is a turn key driver. The car is a total head turner. As I drive down the street it's solid thumbs up. I've been to many Hot Rod shows and events. The car always draws a crowd and I get a ton of positive comments, but the one I most often is "You just don't see these cars around anymore". You can go to alot of car shows and you won't see a 56 Ford Delivery. There are a ton of 55-57 Chevy's out there, but this car is one of a kind!.
