1956 Bel Air 4D hardtop, yellow/white, with propane system, $6,000. Licensed, running, with title. Great car, but I ride a bicycle and the city bus and don’t do the car shows any more. I grew up with a ’56 210 4D our family drove all over the country on vacations. My dad sold it for $25. Brought back great memories when I bought this car 25 years ago.
Frame-off restoration with both frame and body sand blasted individually. Body painted with etching primer, urethane base coat, and urethane clear coat. Has been garaged since painted. The engine is a rebuilt Chevy 229 V6 HEI, modified for propane. Great economy and engine always runs clean. Propane is environmentally friendly.
Fuel filler is behind the same tail light as the original. Fuel tanks are a double-cylinder configuration replacing the original gas tank. Air shocks handle the extra weight in the rear. Four-speed standard transmission. New seat upholstery. Have all the parts, manuals, chrome, and headliner.
