FOR SALE: Great Project Needs Finishing

1956 Chevrolet 150 2 door Station Wagon. The body was completely gone over and repainted new Volkswagon Beetle yellow approxiamately 5 years ago. Frame and floor pan are in great shape and have very little to no rust. Interior needs a full restoration, but it is driveable as is, and all the parts and pieces for the interior are with the car. Differential has been replaced with a late 80's Firebird 10 bolt 3.23:1 posi unit, and transmission is a TH350 with a stage II shift kit. Engine has been replaced with a 383 ci. SBC, built by a professional engine shop. It's a late model, solid rear main seal, hydraulic roller, 4-bolt block, align honed, bored, decked, and stroker clearnanced. Cast GM crankshaft and connecting rods, rods were shot peened and ARP bolts installed. Manley forged pistons at 9.0:1 compression, all rotating and reciprocating weight has been balanced. Cylinder heads are GM Fastburn aluminum, with 2.02/1.60 Manley stainless steel valves and heavy springs. 1.6:1 Crane roller rocker arms and an Edelbrock Vortec style Air Gap intake. The cam I used was out of a ZZ4 GM crate engine, with the 1.6:1 rockers, approxiamately .530 lift and under 210 degrees duration at .050 lift. The motor has been built for low end torque, and has been estimated to make 450-475 ft. lbs. of torque and 425 hp. The engine in the car has been valued at $9000 cdn. If interested, the powertrain can be removed, in which case I would be looking for $14,000.
