FOR SALE: 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Series 1 5 Window
Turquoise & Gray
IIn 1955 Chevrolet rolled out two different models from the 3100 line up. The 1st series was a carry over from the 54 model year while the retooling for an all new 55 model that debuted that spring. This is the last of the affectionately known Fat Fender pickups from Chevy. The 2nd series was quite boxier and had an all new look. The 1948 trough 1955 models are highly desirable classics and this frame off restored 3100 five window is an excellent example. It features an outstanding body with excellent paint, trim, chrome, and glass. It is turquoise so if it looks blue on your screen or mobile device, trust me it is much more green than blue. It is a beautiful color and really stands out accented by wide white wall tires, chrome hub caps, and chrome bumpers. Power comes from the famous Thrift-Master in-line 6 cylinder motor mated to a smooth shifting 3 speed manual transmission. An eye on originality was important to the restorer. The finished product looks very much like what you would have seen on your local Chevy dealers lot back in the day. The bed is just as nice as the rest of the truck and shows well. The tailgate works perfectly. The immaculate interior features subtle gray fabrics for the seat cover and door panels. It also has a vinyl floor mat, excellent pedals, stalk mounted shifter, clear gauges, and a headliner. The stock chassis was refurbished during restoration and shows very well also. This trunk runs like a sewing machine and is fun to cruise in. It is ready to show, drive, and enjoy. You will get as many thumbs up downtown in this jewel as a 55 Bel-Air. Trucks are hot and prices have doubled in just the last few years so now is the time to invest. Financing, insurance, and delivery are just a few clicks away.
