This 1955 Chevy Bel Air Pro Street Masterpiece is everything you would want in a street rod and for this owner, perfection in every detail was a must, and we mean every detail. The car started off being completely disassembled and media blasted to reveal any imperfections, and there were none. The car was then placed on a rotisserie to begin the restoration process. After countless hours of prep work the PPG Bright Red paint was applied and a custom 6 color Holographic Flame job was then layed out on the front of the car. Ah, did we mention this guy was a perfectionist?? The undercarriage was then stripped to bare metal and painted in the same PPG Bright Red. Also during the rebuild process the owner replaced every nut and bolt with a polished button head or stainless fastener. The details go on and on, from powder coating to replacing emblems, scripts, and window to window felts, he did it all. Now for some nitty gritty, lets talk suspension. This owner used a Tubular front A arm set up with an Art Morrison four link tied to a Ford 9 inch with a Lenco 4:10 Posi in the rear. All this with rack and pinion steering to boot makes this car drive and handle just like a pro touring machine. All the lines are stainless and the brakes are Wilwood on all four corners for stopping on a dime. Stance is enhanced by a custom one-off air ride system built by the legendary Bagman in Anaheim, California. The spectacular custom interior was finished off in, what else, Bright Red leather, stitched up by Danny Romo, making this one Red on Red on Red Radical Ride. We know you are holding your breath so we saved the best for last. The 55 is powered by a new Pro Built Summit 383 C.I. with a 871 B&M Mega Blower backed by a B&M Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission. Now that’s a powerhouse! All of this cool sits on one-off Schott Racing Wheels making this build the whole enchilada.
