1953 Chevrolet Belair 1953 Chevrolet Belair American Classic

The owner bought this car in Texas in the late 1980s. The owner drove it for 10 plus years and then did a frame off restoration. Everything has been rebuilt except the steering box, it did not need it. The owner put the car in storage for 8 years and has been driving it for the last two years. The car runs and drives great. There is a small hole in the headliner from mice. The driver side window is cracked and the owner has a new one just has not put it in. There is a dent on the right side front fender. It is hard to see in the photo but with the correct light it is easy to see. There are a few parking lot chips on the driver side. The bumpers are new chrome. The rest of the chrome has not been re-chromed.

It has about 3,000 miles on it after the restoration and there is 84,243 miles total on car. The owner just pulled it out of winter storage and it started right up. It is an automatic with a 235 in-line 6 engine. It never has been on the road in snow or salt. The car is rust free. You can drive it and have lots of fun or you can show it or do both. I drive all my toys and do not show them.
