New for 1953 was the Bel Air name given to a series that year instead of an individual model. The slogan was “entirely new through and through.”

This 1953 Bel Air is an incredible find. All original, this car is a true survivor and its authenticity is obvious. The all steel body is straight and solid and this car has never had rust. Exterior is the original Crocus Green and Woodland green factory color. There are no flaws or dents in the paint. Chrome and trim is very good as well. Floorpans are original and solid. Glass is the original green factory tinted glass. All gauges work.

Interior is all original and in great condition. The dash is most impressive and pristine. It has never been repainted and still looks new.

Engine is the original 6 cylinder 235 cid blue flame engine with the Powerglide transmission. Engine compartment is all original down to the hoses and clamps.
