1948 Studebaker Commander. This nice Stude has been updated all the way around and is now a great little hot rod. It is powered by a Chevy 305 V8 engine accented with a chrome air cleaner cover and valve covers. The engine is hooked to a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission pushing this curved beauty down the road. The body is mounted on a Camaro sub-frame with a Chevy S-10 rear end and has a new Mustang II rack and pinion steering setup. The interior is finished with red and white vinyl seats and door panels with a white headliner and black carpet. It still sports the original dash but it has been upgraded with Dolphin gauges including speed, oil, temperature, fuel and volts. There is also a Panasonic radio/CD player in the dash wired to Polk speakers. Other options include aftermarket A/C, AM/FM radio, CD player, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, vinyl interior, radial tires and Pacer aluminum rims.
