This is a wonderful 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe custom with a Betty Boop theme. Betty Boop was the first and most famous sex symbol in the cartoon world. Always popular, Betty Boop remains a desirable cartoon icon today!
The exterior on this car is a two tone orchid and white. The top, hood, and trunk are orchid and the lower part of the body is white. Behind each front wheel is a Betty Boop motif sitting up and looking pretty! Body is solid steel and straight as an arrow. The trunk has a Betty boop motif to the left of the handle. Paint is in above average condition with no visible flaws. The backside of each bumper has the orchid and white two tone paint. Details on this car are clever and creative.
Interior is a custom white and orchid with orchid piping outlining the seats and accenting the headliner. Seat inserts are 3 color tones that blend well with the color scheme. Orchid colored knobs accent the window handles, shifter, and radio. Even the brake has an orchid colored circle center! The top center of each seat has a Betty Boop motif and the center of the back seat as well. Back seat has fold down arm rests. The custom steering wheel has 3 Betty Boop motifs accenting it. Floor mats are accented with Betty Boop as well.
Engine is a 350 cid with a 350 turbo automatic transmission. The engine compartment has a motif of Betty Boop sipping champagne. Car features power steering, front power disc brakes, Vintage heat and air, third light, and dual power seats. Front end is a Chevrolet and the rear is a Camaro with leaf springs.
This car is an excellent driver that you can take anywhere. There are no leaks or mechanical issues. Current owner just drove this car to a meet 7 hours away and the car ran with excellent performance. Miles are 18,744 carefully driven miles.
