The final year for the super 8 engine 130 HP was 1939.  The body styles went from 15 to 6 to chase from in 1939, like the junior Packard the super 8 head a column mounted gear shift with optional overdrive.  Columbia heads were now all cast iron, and the super 8 had 10 more horse power than the junior Packard.  They were  a wonderful driving tour car with plenty of power.  This model 1703 was restored est. 20 years ago from an excellent original survivor.  The exterior is clad in wine maroon with tan leather interior that\'s in good condition, and the chrome is very good.  The engine was recently tuned, and runs and drives with plenty of life and very smooth.  While the body is excellent and straight with good fit, the paint is lacquer with cracks and is presentable at 20 feet.  This Packard just completed a 200 mile caravan.  Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
