This is an original 1938 frame, blasted down bare. then built with a chassis engineer front, rear and tranny kit. The rear has a sway bar. Completely rebuilt Ford Ranger rear end with all new brake components. New Stainless drive shaft. Completely rebuilt 350 turbo tranny with all the goodies. The engine is New not rebuilt 350 Chevy Crate Engine from GM 330 horsepower from the factory not counting the bolt ons. Edelbrock intake an carburetor. New accessories are HEI, all hose. clamps, fasteners, nothing on this car was used or rigged up. The radiator is a new Walker cobra series with AC built on. The front end is a deluxe kit with strutless a-arms and coil over suspension, fine tuned to ride like a dream. The power rack and pinion steering is a thunderbird unit with an adjustable tuned pressure to give the perfect steering feel. Of course big disc power brake kit in front with everything new. Next the body is ALL STEEL with the exception of the rear fenders. All metal parts were media blasted to bare, then massaged to perfection. Next they were all coated with a self etching prime and then a rust preventative building primer and then sand, sand, sand. All the parts received 2 to 3 coats of color, and then 3 of clear to shine it up. The outside is a two-tone Blue/Silver combination.
The interior was done in a silver ultra leather. The entire inside was treated to a layer of insulation before any leather went in. There is a small back seats. The car has a one piece front windshield rather than the typical v-but type, and the look is incredible. It has 2 speed Newport wipers and they work well. The door handles are shaved and poppers installed, along with power windows and of course bear claw latches. Car has very comfortable pair of 6 way power bucket seats which recline and are great. An idiit steering column, with tilt and a Banjo Wheel set off the smooth bitchin dash and A/C vent panel. All the interior parts including the window garnish is not painted but powder coated to last. The embroidered 1938 Ford in the garnish opening is a nice touch.
