Offering a variety of 6 and 8 cylinder cars with multiple body styles to choose, Pontiac did appeal to a broad range of buyers and the result was their highest sales year to date with 236,189 cars sold!
We are very excited to offer this 1937 Pontiac Deluxe 26 Business Coupe! Finished in a classic shade of Black with white pinstripe over Gray interior, this 2-seater coupe stands out among late 30s Pontiacs for its stylish lines and purposeful storage space. The car is fitted with a date-code correct 223ci Inline Six making 85 horsepower and a 3-Speed floor-shifted manual transmission. Other options include dual side-view mirrors, driver spotlight, antenna, Pontiac Master heater, Pontiac Master speaker and AM radio, defroster, courtesy light, dual visors, chrome exhaust tip and bumper guards. The car has been fitted with several accessories including Yankee Turnflex turn signals, intake whistle and an electric cooling fan. This Pontiac also wears an aesthetically pleasing set of Pontiac steel wheel covers with BF Goodrich Silvertown 6.50x16 4-ply tires.
The odometer on the car shows 71,813 miles, which we have no ability to verify but could be correct and original to the car. The car was restored some time back and still possesses most of its original LOF safety glass. The interior, chrome and paint are very presentable and will easily draw attention at local or regional shows. The car comes with an original jack and tools.
