FOR SALE: Good amateur restoration
Most of the restoration work on this car was completed a couple of years ago. At that time other restoration projects became the priority.
The body work on the car was all done using fabricated steel patch panels welded into the car body. There are no Bondo patches on the car.
The car was painted using high end PPG etched epoxy primer and high build primer. The final paint was PPG Concept single stage color. It sanded and buffed out bueatifully.
All chrome items on the car have been rechromed. Stainless steel trim pieces have all been polished. The car has 1936 Dodge artillary wheels and the impossible to find 1936 one year hub caps. They have been rechromed and repainted. An earlier reupholstry job still looks good.
The car has a new wiring harness and the starter and generator have been rebuilt by a speciality shop. The stock single bulb and lens headlights have been replaced with sealed beam headlights and aftermarket bezels. I think they look really good.
I am still trying to find a few parts for the car. These include a speedometer cable, a replacement copper mesh air cleaner, a gas tank sending unit and rebuilt vacum wiper motors.
The car looks and drives great.
