FOR SALE: National Show Winner
This is a custom 1935 Chevrolet 3 window coupe that is a cut above the rest. The restoration is very high quality and this car has an impressive award history including Best of Class in the Concours d’Elegance.
A solid original, this Chevy coupe was found sitting under a carport under a layer of dust. It had no rust to begin with and minimal wood replacement was required.
The exterior is a two tone silver and orange with a fine green pinstripe dividing and accenting the two colors. The hood is accented with silver flames. Paint is clearly professional and free of flaws. The bumpers and headlight buckets are polished stainless.
Interior is custom two tone tan leather with sculpted panels. The doors are accented with wood grain and orange inserts in the lower section of the panel that match the exterior. Dash, console, and door inserts are from Wabbit. Headliner is sculpted and the overhead stereo is enveloped in wood grain console that matches the door panels.
Engine is a 350 cid Ram Jet fuel injected with a 700R automatic transmission. The engine compartment is finely detailed. Each hood panel has custom flame accents on the underside—a most impressive detail.
Options are power steering, power brakes, power windows, Vintage air and heat, Billet steering wheel and pedals, rack and pinion steering with a polished stainless steering column from Flaming River.
The undercarriage is in show condition and presents extremely well. The front end trailing arms, gas tank, floor pans and exhaust system are all polished stainless. The underside is as impressive as the rest of the car.
This 1935 Chevrolet Coupe has a lineage of top award history. It has won the above mentioned Best of Class at the Concours d’Elegance in Hilton Head, it won 1 of the top 25 cars at Fifty Shades of the Past, Top 25 in National Street Rods South, Top Pick in Good Guys Nationals in Charlotte NC, and 3 trophies in one show at the Memorial Earnhardt show for best interior, best of show and best graphics. These are just a few of the other numerous awards that have been issued for this spectacular 1935 custom. The owner has all trophies displayed in his garage.
The restoration is documented and has been featured in a top Street Rod magazine.
This 1935 Chevy coupe is one of the best you will ever find. It is located in NC and resides in a private collection.
